At the beginning of August, I was approached by someone from Bloomberg BusinessWeek about doing a substantial set of illustrations in a short period of time for their website.

Essentially: Could I do 14 full-color illustrations in 2 weeks?

I said I could. And so…I did. (With help from a little lady by the name of Robyn Chapman.)

And now that’s over and done. I’m proud and satisfied, although I keep seeing things I wished I’d tweaked.

I’ll post the illustrations on the illustration page just as soon as Bloomberg’s exclusivity grace period is over (90 days from first publication). But I just wanted to say, I did it. I didn’t flake out. I did a good job and I’m proud of myself.

Hey, folks! You may have noticed that my ongoing comic strip, Bolt: 6:59, went on a longer-than-expected hiatus when I moved to Brooklyn in late August. But guess what? We’re back! And we’re going biweekly!

Starting Tuesday, December 7, a new page of Bolt will be posted every Tuesday AND Thursday at noon pm sharp. That’s right. Two pages a week, until MoCCA Fest 2011. Then, the whole mess will be collected in book form which you can, and should, buy.
